Savitha Upadhya
MD Psychiatrist
Savitha Upadhya MD, Doctor of Medicine (Psychiatry), has been serving in our area since 2008 and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the North Carolina Psychiatric Society.
Dr. Upadhya sees patients with all mental health diagnoses such as Post-partum Depression, Mood Disorders (including Bipolar and Major Depressive Disorder), Anxiety Spectrum Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, OCD, AD/HD and PTSD. Dr. Upadhya treats adults ages 18 to 65.
MD Psychiatrist
Dr. Rohima Miah received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in Anthropology/Zoology, her medical degree from The Ohio State University Medical School, residency training in psychiatry at the University of North Carolina School Of Medicine. Dr. Miah worked with Wake County Mental Health treating patients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. She participated on numerous committees including pharmacy and cultural competency.
Dr. Miah is licensed to treat Opioid Dependence with buprenorphine. Dr. Miah encourages patients to utilize talk therapy – DBT, CBT, interpersonal, psychoanalytic, etc. – as an important and essential component to achieving optimal mental health. Dr. Miah treats adults ages 18 and up.
Dr. Miah also provides TMS Therapy, an FDA-cleared, safe and effective treatment for individuals diagnosed with depression who have not experienced satisfactory improvement from antidepressant medication. TMS Therapy can be used in conjunction with medication or as a stand-alone treatment. Dr. Miah serves as Medical Director with Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers for the Durham Center.
Rohima Miah
Linda S Bell
M.Ed,LPC Therapist
Ms. Bell Master of Education (specialization in counseling), and Licensed Professional Counselor, has been serving in our area since 2005. Ms. Bell works with clients ages 12-65 facing a wide variety of mental health issues and/or those related to difficult life circumstances.
Therapy addresses concerns such as depression, anxiety (including OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, sexual orientation, separation/divorce, parenting, anger management, job stress, and domestic abuse.
PhD, Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Wright has been practicing psychology since 1992. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and a PhD from the University of Mississippi. She has worked with a variety of adult patients, specializing in chronic mental illness, mood disorders, anxiety, and the geriatric population. Dr. Wright is available, also for psychological testing such as ADHD Evaluations.
Martha Ann Wright
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Ms. Wisner is Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and has been serving in the area since 2013. She earned her Master’s in Nursing at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She earned her BA from Meredith College in Raleigh and her Nursing degree from Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia.
Ms. Wisner has previously worked as a nurse at UNC Hospital Psychiatric Inpatient Units, the WakeBrook Recovery Center and for Easter Seals Home Health. As a Nurse Practitioner she has worked in various outpatient clinics in Raleigh and Durham. She specializes in the treatment specializes in medication management, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Ms. Wisner treats adults ages 18 and up.
Nurse Practitioner
Nwada Nwankudu received here MSN (Nurse Practitioner) degree from University of South Carolina. She also obtained her Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Public Administration degrees from USC, Columbia SC. Her Bachelor’s degree n Political Science from Benedict College, Columbia SC.
She has practiced in a variety of settings, Outpatient mental health clinics, in hospitals, in ER, and in Urgent Care settings, rural family medicine clinics and in ICU settings. She has two decades of experience in general medicine and more than a decade in Mental Healthcare. She treats adults with Attention Deficit, Anxiety, Depression, Stress. Obsession and mood disorders.
Nwada goes by name Ada (pronounced “Aida”) and she is an ordained minister as well.

Clinical Nurse Specialist
Mary Spencer is a Clinical Nurse Specialist who is board certified in Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Duke University and her Master's Degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Louisiana State University. She has been in private practice since 1991 and has worked with adults ages 18 and older to help them overcome the daily challenges of life through talk therapy. Mary has experience working with a variety of medical disorders which include Anxiety, Mood Disorders, ADHD, Panic Attacks, OCD, and has demonstrated success using Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT).
